ESKQ Canggu: Steak and Wine Until 2am, How Much Does It Cost?

ESKQ on Jl. Raya Babakan in Canggu opens Tuesday to Sunday from 6pm to 2am, and the kitchen still takes steak orders until 1:30am, according to its official site eskq.bar (checked 30 October 2026). For two people sharing one Australian steak, one starter and two cocktails, budget roughly IDR 800k-1m before tax.

What kind of place is ESKQ?

A steakhouse and wine bar, not a club. Its selling point is the late hour: while many Canggu kitchens close around 10-11pm, ESKQ is only getting busy. The music is low, there is a shisha menu, and some nights have live jazz. The official site lists a Live Jazz Night on Friday 6 November 2026, and the FINNS Beach Club guide to Canggu bars (updated 9 October 2026) names Friday jazz as a regular fixture. • Cocktails: Caipiroska and Mojito IDR 100k, Whiskey Sour IDR 120k, Negroni IDR 130k.
• Beer and soft drinks: small Bintang IDR 35k, small Heineken IDR 40k, mocktails IDR 55k.
• Wine by the bottle: around 50 labels, from IDR 550k (a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc) to IDR 1.08m for Whispering Angel rosé.
• Steaks: New Rump Tokusen Wagyu IDR 250k, Australian striploin IDR 330k, Australian ribeye IDR 350k, Wagyu MB7 ribeye IDR 1.05m, tomahawk (pre-order) IDR 1.8m.
• Wine bites: olives IDR 65k, prosciutto IDR 90k, cheese plate IDR 315k.

The online menu does not say whether prices include tax and service. Ask when you order so the bill holds no surprises.

When to go

Arrive at 7-8pm for an unhurried dinner. After 10pm it feels more like a wine bar, and that is when people drift in hungry after a beach club. It suits couples, small groups, or anyone who wants a proper steak after midnight.

The downsides

• Closed every Monday.
• Premium cuts push the bill up fast; one Wagyu MB7 ribeye alone costs over IDR 1m.
• Shisha is served. If smoke bothers you, ask for a table away from that area when you book.

Getting home safely at 2am
