Before You Go to Bar Souvenir Berawa: Walk-in Only, Rp140k Cocktails

Bar Souvenir in Berawa does not take reservations: its official website says "No Booking / Walk-ins only", open Monday-Thursday 5pm-midnight, Friday-Saturday 5pm until late, and closed on Sundays (checked 24 October 2026). Cocktails cost Rp140,000-175,000 plus 10% tax and 5% service, in a tiny bar of about 15 seats on Gang Jalak.

7 things to know before you go

• Arrive early or be ready to wait. Indagare describes it as a 15-seater, and Design Anthology puts the room at about 27 square metres. With no bookings, Friday and Saturday nights can fill up, so turning up close to opening is safest. Groups of more than four should pick another bar.
• Sources disagree on hours. The official site says from 5pm and closed Sunday. Honeycombers (21 best bars in Canggu, updated 7 May 2026) says Monday-Saturday from 7pm. Go by the official site, but check Instagram @bar.souvenir before heading out.
• Cocktail prices. From the menu on the official site: Coja (shochu, shiso coffee, umeshu, salted plum) Rp140,000, Penpal (gin, rosella kombucha, vermouth, Cynar) Rp150,000, Marco (clarified rum, pineapple Campari, kemangi basil) Rp165,000, Fenny (Teeling whiskey, fennel liqueur) Rp175,000. Martinis and negronis are made on request. The menu file is dated January 2024, but the from-Rp140,000 price was confirmed by Honeycombers in May 2026. After tax and service, expect roughly Rp160,000-200,000 per cocktail (about AUD 15-19).
• Not only cocktails. Wine by the glass is Rp110,000-150,000 (bottles Rp500,000-700,000), Konishi Daiginjo sake Rp240,000 a glass, Kura Kura canned beer Rp60,000-110,000, and house rosella kombucha Rp50,000 for non-drinkers.
• Snacks, not dinner. Honeycombers recommends the black garlic miso butter with crackers (Rp60,000 on the menu). There are also Cerignola olives at Rp50,000 and cured meat at Rp115,000. Eat dinner somewhere else first.
• No published dress code or age limit. It is a small neighbourhood bar that Condé Nast Traveler (quoted on the bar's press page) compared to the pint-sized bars of Tokyo and Seoul. Bring ID, since the legal drinking age in Indonesia is 21 (read the rules).
• Getting there. The address is Gg. Jalak VIB No.4, Tibubeneng, inside the Kinship Studio co-working building according to Design Anthology. As it is down a lane, a ride-hailing bike or a walk from Jalan Pantai Berawa is easier. Do not drive yourself after drinking on Berawa's busy night roads.

The downsides

For a bar this small, prices are at hotel-bar level: two cocktails each can come close to Rp400,000 per person. With no bookings, you might make the trip and still miss out on a seat. If you need a guaranteed table, The Mailroom in Berawa takes reservations, or head up to Segno on Batu Bolong.
