7 Things to Know Before Going to Longtime Berawa

Longtime at Jl. Pantai Berawa No.13 opens daily from 12pm, with a 2-for-1 happy hour on selected cocktails from 4pm to 6pm and a "HYDE Saturdays" DJ night from 10pm to 3am listed on its events page. Cocktail prices are not published online; what is published is a food menu at IDR 40-950k per dish and a Feed Me set at IDR 550k++ per person.

This modern Asian restaurant and bar comes from the team behind Milk & Madu, Watercress and Ulekan (official About page). Lux Nomade reviewed it in December 2024 and updated the piece in June 2026, Honeycombers lists it among Berawa's "new & trending" picks (updated 9 April 2026), and the official press page cites the Prestige Gourmet Awards 2026. The seven points below were checked on 23 October 2026.

1. It is a restaurant first, a bar second

From lunch to late afternoon, Longtime is a mid-century dining room run by Chef Tyler Preston's kitchen. The bar energy rises after happy hour, and on Saturday nights the tables are cleared for house and disco DJs. If you only want a drink at the bar without dinner, The Mailroom in Berawa is more cocktail-focused.

2. The hours to note

• Bottomless Yum Cha: daily 12pm-4pm, with an optional two-hour drinks package (LT cocktails, wine, beer).
• Happy hour: daily 4pm-6pm, 2-for-1 on selected LT cocktails and Longtime Pilsner.
• HYDE Saturdays: 10pm-3am, tickets via a link on the site. The latest date written on the events page is Saturday 25 July, so check Instagram that the night is still running.
• Closing time on nights other than Saturday is not published.

3. Price range (before ++)

• Snacks: pickles IDR 60k, prawn toast IDR 95k, scallop crudo IDR 180k.
• Small plates: smacked cucumbers IDR 80k, Malay fried chicken IDR 105k, curious burrata IDR 180k.
• Large plates: IDR 160-320k, for example crispy half duck IDR 320k; 300 g Wagyu ribeye IDR 950k.
• Desserts IDR 55-95k.

Honeycombers says large plates "start from IDR 120,000++", but the official menu checked today starts at IDR 160k. Go by the official menu. For two people sharing three or four plates plus two cocktails, budget roughly IDR 1-1.5 million after tax; cocktail prices are not listed, so ask before ordering.

4. Do you need a booking? For weekend nights, yes

The private Long Room seats 40; a full buy-out for 30 or more has a IDR 25 million minimum spend, while the semi-private option (up to 20 guests, 5:30pm or 8:30pm seatings) has no minimum spend but requires a set menu.

5. Dress code and age

Neither is published. For Saturday nights bring your passport, since venues selling alcohol can turn away guests under Indonesia's minimum drinking age.

6. The downside

The bill climbs fast: menu prices exclude ++ and the cocktail list cannot be checked from home, so budgeting is harder than at Pony, which publishes its cocktail prices. If you want a cheap afternoon beer, this is not the place.

7. A safety tip specific to Longtime

A two-hour drinks package in the midday heat hits harder than evening drinking. Alternate with water, and do not ride a scooter home after a bottomless yum cha; book a car through an app to the door.

FAQ

Are there vegetarian options? Yes. The official menu marks several vegetarian dishes, such as tempura eggplant, shiitake potstickers and a tofu-mushroom mapo lasagna.

Longtime or Mosto for dinner for two? Longtime is louder and suits groups; Mosto is quieter for a date.

Can I walk in? Weekday lunches are usually easier, but book for Friday and Saturday nights.
