Billy Ho Canggu: Cocktail Prices, DJ Hours, Do You Need to Book?

• Prices are ++. The menu lists prices in thousands of rupiah, plus 7.5% service and 10% tax. A IDR 170k Chilli Margarita lands on the bill at around IDR 200k. Other examples: Asian Daiquiri 150k, Beeswax Negroni 175k, Tiramisu Martini 180k.
• Beer is the cheaper route. Akari wheat beer on tap is 80k, Kome rice lager on tap 90k, Kura Kura 90k, a Singaraja long neck 95k. Honeycombers still says cocktails "start from IDR 145,000"; the current menu on the website starts at 150k.
• The DJ is deliberately low-key. The site lists DJs on Fridays and Saturdays, 7-10pm, under the line "Not louder. Just right." If you want to dance, move on somewhere else after 10pm.
• Bar closing time is inconsistent. The site gives the restaurant as 11am-11pm and the bar as "11:00-late", but another line on the same page says the bar runs until 11pm. Treat 11pm as the safe assumption.
• Book for evenings. The official site recommends booking ahead for dinner via the Book a table page, WhatsApp or email. Groups of 10-30 go through Group Dining.
• Early deals exist, but for food. The 7-course Early Bird runs 5-6:30pm, and Bottomless Brunch runs 11am-4pm at IDR 650k++ per person. No cocktail happy hour is listed.
• No published dress code or age rule. It feels like a relaxed restaurant, so smart-casual is fine. The legal drinking age in Indonesia is 21, see Bali drinking age rules, so carry ID.

Who it suits, and who should skip it

Billy Ho works for dinner with properly made cocktails, a long bar counter and music that does not drown out conversation. Its Cocktail Collective brings in guest bartenders a few times a year; dates go up on the What's On page, so check there before you go.

It is a poor fit if you are on a tight budget or looking for a party. Two cocktails with ++ already come to roughly IDR 400k. For a bar that is all about cocktails without the restaurant, compare Segno or The Mailroom.

Safety tip: Jl. Pantai Batu Bolong is narrow and jammed on weekend nights, with scooters packed along the verge. If you have been drinking, do not ride; book a ride-hailing car and check the no-pickup zones in Canggu first.

Can I just come for drinks? Yes, the bar opens at 11am. On weekend nights tables fill with diners, so without a booking a bar seat is the realistic option.

How much for two? Two cocktails each plus a few small plates easily passes IDR 1 million after ++. That is an estimate from menu prices, not an actual receipt.
