Afterglow Bar & Kitchen is the rooftop bar of TRIBE Bali Kuta Beach on Jl. Pantai Kuta No. 99, open daily from 7am to 11pm. According to its official menu dated 1 September 2026, cocktails cost IDR 139-200k before 10% service and 11% tax, so arrive around 5pm if you want a Kuta sunset from above without squeezing onto the sand.
The mood and when it gets busy
TRIBE's own site describes quiet mornings, a scene that picks up in the afternoon and a full food and drink menu with a soulful playlist at night. There is an infinity pool on the roof facing the beach. Exquisite Taste Magazine places it on the sixth floor and named it Best Rooftop Restaurant at the Exquisite Awards 2023. In practice the rush is sunset, roughly 5.30-7pm in late October. This is a laid-back hotel bar, not a club: no regular DJ schedule has been announced for 2026. The last rooftop party on record is Kuta Open Deck Vol. 2 on 29 August 2025 (Honeycombers events calendar), and TIMES Indonesia reported a run of rooftop events for the 2025 holiday season in November 2025.
What to order and what it costs
- Classic cocktails: Aperol Spritz, Negroni, Margarita and Long Island at IDR 150k each; Mojito and Lychee Martini at IDR 139k.
- Bartender creations: Kuta Sunset (Aperol, calamansi, lychee, passion fruit, prosecco) at IDR 200k, Royal Sling with loloh jamu at IDR 139k.
- Wine by the glass IDR 109-129k; mocktails from IDR 49k.
- Wood-fired pizzas IDR 115-220k, burgers IDR 115-195k.
For two people with two cocktails and one pizza, budget around IDR 500-600k after service and tax. The menu also lists a 5% discount for members of Accor's ALL loyalty programme.
The drawbacks
Prices are hotel-bar prices, well above Kuta's roadside bars. The site does not list a dress code, an age limit, or whether non-guests may use the rooftop pool; ask when you book. Jl. Pantai Kuta is one-way and jammed before sunset, so take a ride-hailing car and get dropped at the hotel lobby. A safety tip that fits this venue
