No Más opens daily from 5pm on the second floor of the Liap Liap building on Jalan Monkey Forest, and the live band plays 8pm-11pm with no cover charge. The catch: the bar takes no table reservations, so latecomers often end up standing. Here are the small things people tend to miss.
1. Check whether it is a Latin night or a rock night
According to its official Weekly Gigs page (checked October 2026), the music rotates: Monday and Wednesday are Latin nights with Los Hermanos, Tuesday and Saturday are alt-rock with One Slowky, Thursday is "G.O.A.T Thursday" with Black Betty, and Friday and Sunday are Latin nights with D'Cambios. Come on a Latin night if you want to salsa. Pick Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday for sing-along rock.
2. Walk-in only, so arrive before 8pm
The official FAQ says tables cannot be booked; reservations are only for private events or full buyouts. On weekend nights, arriving around 7pm-7.30pm gives you a fair chance of a seat near the stage before the band starts.
3. Drink prices and happy hour
- Entry is free, with no minimum spend.
- Honeycombers lists a 7pm-11pm happy hour with selected cocktails, beers, wines and whiskies at Rp87k net, and Sangria Sunshine at Rp104k a glass. That article is undated, so treat these as estimates and check the menu at the table.
- There are bar bites and sharing plates; the kitchen's last order is 11pm.
4. It is loud, not a place to talk
Guest reviews on Google and Tripadvisor repeatedly say the music is too loud for conversation, and some cocktails are rated as average. If you want a quiet drink for two, Ubud has calmer options such as CP Lounge. The bar is also upstairs, so it is not a good fit for wheelchair users.
5. Dress code and age
There is no formal dress code; the FAQ says "come as you are". The legal drinking age in Indonesia is 21, so carry your passport or a digital copy. The rules are explained in our article on the minimum drinking age in Bali.
6. Getting home from Monkey Forest
Scooter parking along Jalan Monkey Forest is limited and the road is one-way. If you are staying in central Ubud, walking or booking a car through an app makes more sense than riding a scooter after drinks.
