CP Lounge is open every day from 1pm to 3am at Jl. Monkey Forest No. 15, Ubud, and entry is free with no minimum spend (official website, checked October 2026). Running since 2009, it is one of the few places in Ubud that is still busy after midnight.
What happens when?
The day is layered, according to the official site:
- 1pm: the white-sand Ubud Oasis pool and the pool tables open
- 5:45-8:45pm: acoustic music
- 7-11:30pm: karaoke
- 9-11:45pm: Latin and pop live bands; Friday is Latin social dance night
- Midnight-3am: CP Club, DJs in the indoor room
The Bali Buddies guide (August 2026) also lists a Balinese dance performance from 7pm to 9pm daily.
How much are drinks?
From the PDF menu linked on the official Beverages page (checked October 2026):
- Bali Hai and Bintang beer: IDR 45-55k
- Classic cocktails such as Cuba Libre, Negroni, Long Island: IDR 87-159k
- Margaritas, daiquiris, mojitos: IDR 98-149k
- Signature cocktails: IDR 139-159k
- Rainbow Party Shots, 12 shots: IDR 175k
All prices exclude 5% service and 11% tax.
Do I need to book or pay to get in?
No. The official policy is no reservation, no minimum purchase, and no outside food or drinks.
Is there a dress code or age limit?
Dress is casual, but men cannot wear singlets. It is adults only, so bring ID. The pool has no lifeguard and the site says you swim at your own risk. After a few drinks, stay on the loungers.
Who will not enjoy it?
Anyone after a quiet cocktail bar. The bands and DJs are loud, and the crowd leans towards shots and Latin dancing. For a calmer drink on the same road, The Blue Door is a better fit. Families with children cannot enter either.
How do I get home after 3am?
If you are staying around Monkey Forest or Jl. Raya Ubud, you can walk, although some stretches of pavement are dark. From further away, book a ride before closing, since some spots in Ubud restrict online taxi pickups; see where Grab and Gojek cannot pick you up.
