Krisna Grape Pejarakan: Taste Imported Grapes, Then Pick

At Krisna Grape in Pejarakan village, Gerokgak, you pay Rp10,000 (adults) and can taste several imported grape varieties before deciding what to pick. Picked grapes cost Rp80,000 per kilogram for every variety, according to Bali Post (21 October 2026) and Radio Singaraja FM on the same day.

What you will find

The garden is run by Made Sujana, known as Bli Kadek, in Banjar Sandikerta on Jalan Asem Kembar. He grows Taldun, Julian, Everest and Akademik, each with a different taste and texture. The idea is simple: taste first, choose the one you like, then pick. Radar Buleleng (22 October 2026) and NusaBali also covered it, and visitor numbers since it opened to the public are said to be in the hundreds.

Children over five pay Rp5,000 and under-fives are free. Harvests come roughly every three months.

Downsides to know

  • November is the start of the wet season. The owner himself says rain makes fruiting harder and the grapes less sweet than in the hot months. For the sweetest fruit, the dry season is a safer bet.
  • It is tucked inside the village, not on the main road. The owner asks visitors to message on WhatsApp for the coordinates, but the number was not printed in the reports we checked.
  • Opening hours and parking fees have not been published anywhere as of 4 November 2026.
  • No large online or cash-on-delivery orders yet. Turning up in person is the only way.
  • This is a small family plot, not a theme park. Do not expect a cafe, big toilets or rides.

Getting there

Pejarakan is the village just west of Pemuteran and includes Banyuwedang Bay. From Singaraja along the north coast road, allow roughly 1.5-2 hours. If you are already staying in Pemuteran, pair it with a soak at Banyuwedang Hot Spring. To compare with another Buleleng vineyard, Wira Grape Sejahtera in Seririt is on the way back east.

If you want to stay nearby, an AccessiaPass hotel voucher for a Pemuteran resort makes a good base, such as Pondok Sari Pemuteran, which we have reviewed.
