White Rock Beach Club on Melasti Beach, Ungasan, opens every day from 10am and charges no entry fee, except for special events and New Year's Eve. What you do need to budget for is the minimum spend on seating, starting at IDR 500k++ for a sofa for two (checked on the official website in October 2026).
What are the opening hours?
Doors open at 10am. The official site is inconsistent on closing time: the homepage says 9pm, the FAQ page says 10pm. Plan to leave around 9pm to be safe. The club closes the day before Nyepi and on Nyepi itself. Resident DJs play daily from 12:30pm, and weekend afternoons are the busiest because of the Saturday and Sunday foam party from 3:15pm.
How much is the minimum spend for daybeds and sofas?
- Single Sofa (2 people): IDR 500k++
- Single Bed (2 people) and Spa Daybed (4 people): IDR 2 million++
- Double Bed (4 people): IDR 3 million++, Lagoon Bed (4 people): IDR 3.5 million++
- Party Bed (8 people): IDR 5 million++
- VIP Cabana (12 people) and Party Executive Suite (15 people): IDR 8 million++
The minimum spend works as food and drink credit, but IDR 100k++ per person is deducted as an amenities fee (welcome drink, towel, facility access). Book online and arrive before 2pm and you get 50% off the minimum spend on most daybeds. Lagoon Beds, Single Beds, the Rock Bar daybeds and the VIP Cabana are excluded.
What do drinks cost?
Reference points from this month's official promotions: Erdinger Helles at IDR 105k a bottle or IDR 475k++ for a bucket of five (Oktoberfest offer, 1-31 October 2026), whisky highballs at IDR 160k++, and two Jose Cuervo margaritas for IDR 225k++ during happy hour, 5pm to 7pm. The ++ means tax and service are added to the bill. Outside food and drink are not allowed, and bags are checked at the entrance.
Is there a dress code or age limit?
Swimwear or beachwear is required around the pools, and swimming in underwear is prohibited. The restaurant stays dry, so no wet swimsuits or towels inside. There are changing rooms and lockers for rent. White Rock has no minimum entry age because it is openly family-friendly, with a kids' pool and kids' menu. Who might not enjoy it?
If you want a quiet, adults-only beach club, family groups and the weekend foam party can feel loud. It is also a long way from Canggu: the partner transport rates listed on the official site are IDR 450k one way to Canggu and IDR 550k to Ubud. On top of that, the village collects a Melasti Beach area fee of around IDR 15k for foreign visitors and IDR 10k for domestic ones.
