The Nest Beachside Spa Sanur: Massage Prices for 60 and 90 Minutes

A 60-minute Balinese massage at The Nest Beachside Spa in Sanur costs Rp280,000, and the 90-minute version Rp390,000, according to the menu on its official website (checked September 2026). The small spa has been open since December 2015 on Jl. Kusuma Sari, right on the Sanur beach path, looking out towards Nusa Lembongan.

What to order

The signature choice is the Balinese Massage with Sand Compress: a medium-pressure Balinese massage finished with warm sand compresses. For sore muscles after surfing or cycling the beach path, Deep Tissue makes more sense at Rp290,000 for 60 minutes or Rp410,000 for 90 minutes. Other options on the menu:

The website says guests get a cold towel and a welcome drink, then a scoop of house-made lime and peppermint sorbet after the treatment. That sorbet is the detail TripAdvisor reviewers mention most.

What you will spend

A 90-minute Balinese massage plus a 45-minute coconut or sea salt scrub (Rp190,000) comes to Rp580,000 per person, roughly US$35. The menu does not say whether tax and service are included, so ask when you book. If you want more than one treatment, the Beachwalk Delight package (75 minutes, Rp440,000) or Island Indulgence (2.5 hours, Rp650,000) can work out cheaper than booking items separately.

The downsides

It costs clearly more than Sanur's roadside massage shops, which usually charge Rp100,000-200,000 an hour. Several reviewers say so while still calling it good value. Slots fill quickly, and reviews suggest booking a day or two ahead. Cancelling less than 2 hours before your slot costs 50%, and no-shows pay in full. Also note there is a sister spa called The Nest Boutique Spa, so give the right name when you book.
