Before You Go to White Rabbit Uluwatu: Hours, Cocktail Prices, DJs

White Rabbit is a speakeasy-style cocktail bar on the second floor of Jl. Labuansait, Pecatu, right next to Lola's Uluwatu, open every night from 7pm to 2am. Signature cocktails cost IDR 150,000-220,000 a glass before tax and service (official website menu, checked October 2026). These are the eight things most people only figure out once they arrive.

1. The door is upstairs, not on the street

The room sits one floor above the Labuansait traffic, so the sign is easy to miss from a scooter. Use Lola's Uluwatu as your landmark: get dropped in front of Lola's and look for the stairs.

2. It is an after-sunset bar, not a sunset spot

Doors open at 7pm and there is no ocean view. If you want the cliff sunset, watch it somewhere else first and come here for the next round.

3. Budget per glass, not per night

• Balinese Sour (arak, roasted pineapple, clove, palm sugar): IDR 150k
• Mango Sticky Rice (vodka, mango, coconut, vanilla): IDR 150k
• Lychee Elder Fizz and Spicy Mama: IDR 160k
• Asian Sour, finished with a flamed cinnamon stick: IDR 170k
• Miso Horny (toasted rice whisky, white miso, kombu): IDR 220k

Two signatures already come to IDR 300-440k before tax and service, and the percentage is not listed on the site. The FINNS Uluwatu nightlife guide (updated July 2026) warns that bills here creep up because the drinks go down easily. If you want a long, cheap night, this is the wrong bar.

4. Pick the night for the mood

Tuesday is live jazz with vocals, sax and guitar, the best night if you still want to talk. Friday and Saturday bring house and tech house DJs and a louder room. One-off nights such as bartender guest shifts are announced on Instagram or through the guest list on the bar's Wi-Fi.

5. Reservations are optional

Walk-ins are welcome. To hold a table, the official site asks you to send an Instagram DM, which is worth doing for groups of four or more on DJ nights.

6. No published dress code, but ID still matters

The website does not list a dress code. The room is a lounge with deep chairs and a long marble bar, so smart casual is safer than a wet beach singlet. Carry ID or a passport photo: buying alcohol in Indonesia is limited to 21 and over. Details are in the drinking and club entry age rules in Bali.

7. Whisky drinkers have their own reason to come

The bar claims one of the largest whisky collections in Bali. Ulu 560 (oolong-infused bourbon, Amaro Montenegro) is a good bridge if you usually drink whisky neat.

8. Do not ride a scooter home
