Titab Ularan Dam is about 10 km, or a 20-minute drive, from central Seririt, and according to NusaBali there is no entry ticket. The reservoir holds back the Saba River on the border of Titab village (Busungbiu district) and Ularan village (Seririt district); it was built between 2011 and 2015 and is described as the largest dam in Bali.
Routes and driving times
- From Lovina (Kalibukbuk): about 20 km, 35-40 minutes. Follow the main road west through Banjar, then at Seririt turn south towards Busungbiu and Pupuan. You can pair it with a morning Lovina dolphin trip.
- From Singaraja: about 28-30 km, 45-50 minutes on the same route.
- From Munduk: about 27 km on winding hill roads, roughly an hour.
- From Pupuan (Tabanan): about 26 km north, which makes sense if you are crossing from the south to North Bali.
The dam is far from the district towns, so have your own transport or a driver for the return trip.
What to do there, and the downsides
People come for the sheet of water against the hills, best on a clear late afternoon. Locals fish and jog here, and there is a car park and a small garden. The drawback is obvious: apart from looking at the water, there is very little to do. NusaBali described the site as short of visitors, so food stalls may well be shut on weekdays. It is not a place to swim either. Treat it as a 30-45 minute stop on a drive, not a half-day outing.
Practical Info

The most efficient plan from Lovina: a soak at Banjar Hot Springs around midday, then on to the dam for late afternoon, since both lie on the same road.
