A Bali Hai beer at The Goat Legian costs Rp45k a bottle, and a bucket of five is Rp199k, according to the menu the pub uploaded on 23 September 2026. The Goat is a sports pub at Jl. Werkudara No.521, Legian, open from morning until past midnight. Here are seven things worth knowing before you go.
1. It is a sports pub, not a club
The draw is the big screens and a sports schedule refreshed every week on its official site (the latest covers 12-18 October 2026). There is a pool table. If you want a DJ and a dance floor, Legian has other options such as Engine Room.
2. Open 9am until about 1am
Chope lists 9am-1am daily, while the bar menu says "9am till late". Big match nights are the busiest; arrive before kick-off if you want a table facing a screen.
3. Drink prices (checked October 2026)
- Bali Hai Rp45k, bucket of 5 Rp199k
- House spirits Rp120k, premium Rp139k
- Cocktails Rp139-149k, frozen margarita Rp129k
- Cocktail paddle of 4 glasses Rp299k
- Wine Rp129k a glass or Rp499k a bottle
Prices exclude 10% tax and 5% service, so add roughly 15% in your head.
4. The menu is deliberately crude
Several cocktail and shot names are vulgar in an Aussie-pub way. Funny to some, awkward if you are there with family or colleagues.
5. There is a Rp999k cocktail class
The masterclass runs 2-4pm or 5-7pm, maximum 15 people, by appointment. Each guest makes six cocktails and gets canapés.
6. Book by WhatsApp, not the website form
The booking page on its site still shows template text, so use the WhatsApp number on the homepage. No dress code is published; casual pub wear is fine. Bring a passport or ID because the legal age to buy alcohol in Indonesia is 21 (see Bali's drinking age rules). Chope's listing mentions live music and DJs nightly from 6pm, but that text is old; check Instagram for the current line-up.
7. Drink deals blur the count
Buckets and paddles make it hard to keep track of glasses. Jalan Legian is busy with scooters until late, so walk home with friends or order a Grab from the pub's door instead of riding a rental bike.

One last tip: try the "garlic bread challenge". If staff forget to offer the garlic bread loaf when you order food, it is free; if they do offer it, it costs Rp49k.
