Cork French Tavern Sanur: Menu, Prices and Do You Need to Book?

Dinner for two at Cork French Tavern in Sanur, with one starter, two mains and one dessert, comes to about IDR 600,000-825,000 including 10.5% tax and 7% service, before drinks. Reservations are not required but can be made via Chope or the official number on the menu, and the kitchen runs from breakfast at 06:30 until midnight.

It used to be Cork Bistro & Wine Bar. On 10 December 2025 it relaunched as Cork French Tavern with French chef Stéphane Simond, according to a release published by Bali.com. It sits alongside the Maison Aurelia hotel at Jl. Danau Tamblingan No.140, Sanur's main street.

Menu and prices (official May 2026 menu)

• Meat and poultry: wagyu beef bourguignon with Savoyard gratin IDR 225k, duck leg confit with cassis sauce IDR 195k, slow-cooked pork belly IDR 185k, roasted baby chicken IDR 175k.
• Fish: Tasmanian salmon IDR 225k, sea bass Provençal IDR 195k, barramundi meunière IDR 175k.
• Pasta and the Indonesian corner: angel hair prawns IDR 185k, parmesan gnocchi with wagyu bolognese IDR 175k, wagyu rendang IDR 145k, bebek goreng IDR 125k, nasi or mie goreng IDR 110k.
• Wagyu steaks MB2-3: from about IDR 335k for 150-200 g up to IDR 750k for a 400 g ribeye, with béarnaise, peppercorn, wine or mushroom cream sauce.
• Sharing sets: Le Petit Cork IDR 650k for two (escargots, bruschetta, barramundi or bourguignon, crème brûlée or apple tart); Le Grand Cork IDR 1,650k for four with an 800 g wagyu striploin.
• Dessert: raspberry-pistachio pavlova, billed in the release as the signature, about IDR 125k.

Breakfast, 06:30-11:00, runs IDR 65k-145k. A bottle of Bintang is IDR 52k, and the September 2026 drinks menu lists a happy hour on selected cocktails without clear times.

What to know before you go

• The food scores lower than the service. On Chope (27 reviews) food rates 3.7 out of 5, while service and atmosphere rate 4.2. A May 2026 review also complained about other guests smoking during dinner, so ask for a table away from smokers if that bothers you.
• Mussels were mentioned in the December 2025 release but are not on the May 2026 menu. Ask first if that is what you are coming for.
• Your bill rises 17.5% above menu prices with tax and service.
• The menu includes pork and alcohol; there is no mention of halal certification.
• Car and scooter parking is available, according to the official release.
