Azul Beach Club Legian: Tiki Bar, Happy Hour and Cabana Prices

Azul Beach Club charges no entry fee, opens daily from 7am to 11pm, and its tiki cocktails cost IDR 135,000 plus 21% tax and service (June 2026 drinks menu on the official site, checked October 2026). It is a multi-level bamboo treehouse inside Bali Mandira Beach Resort, facing Legian Beach.

What to order

Azul calls itself Bali's first tiki bar, and the tiki list is the main reason to come: Vacation in a Glass, Lost in Japan (rum, yuzu, black tea) or Mai Tai 2.0, all IDR 135k. Groups can share the Monster Tiki (3 people) for IDR 420k or the Treasure Box (5 people) for IDR 620k. Bintang is IDR 49k. Two cocktails and two Bintangs come to about IDR 445k after tax.

What the pool costs

• Sun lounger: IDR 150k minimum spend per bed, first come, first served
• Cabana for 2-3 people: IDR 750k minimum, book at least 24 hours ahead for arrivals before noon
• Top floor: IDR 6 million minimum for up to 15 people
• The infinity pool and whirlpool are free to use with a food or drink order

When to go

The "Pay 1 Get 2" happy hour runs Monday to Thursday, 3-6pm, on selected cocktails, which lines up with the run-in to sunset. The music schedule announced in June 2026: Latin night from 7pm on Monday, seafood BBQ with reggae from 6:30pm on Tuesday, 90s hits on Thursday, Friday Sunset Gig from 5pm, Afrohouse then saxophone on Saturday, and free salsa on Sunday from 2:30 to 5pm with IDR 75k++ mojitos. The Sunset Pods on the upper deck cannot be booked.

Verdict

Azul works for a relaxed Legian sunset with no minimum spend if you sit at the bar or a regular table. The downsides are clear. It closes at 11pm, so it is not a party-till-dawn venue; for a later night, clubs on Jl. Legian such as Engine Room are a few minutes away. The ground floor is open to children, so afternoons can be busy with families, while the upper deck, pool and jacuzzi are for ages 15 and up. From October to March, Legian Beach is also prone to washed-up rubbish. No dress code is published. After a few drinks, stick to the pool; Legian's waves and currents are no place for someone who has been drinking.
