7 Things to Know Before Going to The Bench Brewery Uluwatu

A glass of Easy Blonde, The Bench Brewery’s own beer, costs Rp95k before 10% tax and 5% service. That was the cheapest line on their tap board in May 2026 and it still applied when we checked in October 2026. The taproom at Jl. Labuansait No. 234, Pecatu, was opened by the team behind Island Brewing and is the younger sibling of The Bench in Canggu. Seven things to know before you go:

1. The house beers cost less than the guest taps

On the board: Easy Blonde 4.2% Rp95k, Be Hazy 4.7% Rp115k, IPA 6.5% Rp140k. Guest taps include Island Brewing’s Pilsner (Rp100k) and Summer Pale Ale (Rp110k), plus a Black Sand cherry sour at Rp125k. With tax and service, an Easy Blonde comes to roughly Rp109k (about US$7).

2. Cocktails sit at Rp130-150k

The Bench margarita, mango spritz and espresso martini are Rp140k; Tommy’s margarita and amaretto sour Rp150k. Mocktails are Rp65k, soft drinks Rp35k and a 750 ml bottle of water Rp60k.

3. Every night has a different program

• Monday-Friday 12-2pm: Burger & Pint, Rp150k++.
• Monday 8pm: Soul Monday.
• Tuesday 7pm: Pool & Pints, Rp150k entry including one Easy Blonde; the pool tournament winner takes home a surfboard.
• Thursday 6pm: Steak and Vino.
• Friday 7-9pm: 2-for-1 on selected cocktails.
• Saturday 8pm: Live and Loud, rock and indie bands followed by DJs, with 2-for-1 espresso martinis 7-9pm.

Bali Buddies (April 2026) still lists a weekday Easy Blonde pint at Rp50k++ and 2-for-1 pints on Saturdays 4-7pm. Neither appears on the official site, so ask the bar before you order.

4. Saturday night is packed and loud

The official site says Live and Loud draws hundreds of people every Saturday. For a quiet conversation or a game on the screens, Monday to Thursday makes more sense.

5. No written dress code, but bring ID

It is a relaxed pub and the site lists no clothing rules. The legal drinking age in Indonesia is 21, so carry your passport or a photo of it. More on that in our piece on the drinking and club entry age in Bali.

6. Book through the website or WhatsApp

For Saturday, reserve a table through the Bookings page on benchbrewerybali.com. Groups on weeknights can message the WhatsApp button on the same site.

7. The road home is narrow

Jl. Labuansait at night is tight and full of scooters; after a few pints, order a Grab or Gojek rather than riding yourself. If you want another stop, Gabet’s Pub is on the same street.
