Zumana Kuta Is Open: Savaya's New Beach Club at Sunset Bay

Zumana, the new beach club from Savaya Group, has been operating at Sunset Bay Kuta, Jl. Kartika Plaza No.2, since 19 August 2026, and wrapped up its grand opening weekend on 25-26 September with The Martinez Brothers and Satori. It is a joint project with KAJA Group, designed by Rockwell Group on roughly 3,250 m² of Kuta beachfront.

What changes for Kuta visitors

Kuta has long meant cheap drinks and Jalan Legian clubs such as Sky Garden. Zumana brings the Savaya-style beach club format to the beach where Bali tourism began: daybeds, a pool, dancing on the sand and international DJs. The official calendar lists Monkey Safari (30 September), ARTBAT (16 October), Joseph Capriati (27 November) and a New Year's Eve night with Francis Mercier.

Opening hours worth noting

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday: 3pm-11pm
• Saturday: 3pm-midnight
• Wednesday and Friday: 8pm-3am. No sunset on these two nights; they run as night parties.

Entry rules and prices

The official site states a strict 21+ policy with a valid passport or driver's licence (see also Bali drinking age rules). Dress code is smart casual; beer-branded singlets, cut-offs and sportswear are refused. Event tickets are sold only through Megatix, and tables are booked via WhatsForm. Official prices are not on the website; a third-party guide from August 2026 lists minimum spends from IDR 6 million++ for a daybed to IDR 25 million++ for a cabana. The 200-seat Manuza restaurant is still "coming soon", so there is no full dinner service yet.

Families with children or teenagers cannot enter. After drinking, do not swim at Kuta Beach at night; currents are strong and there are no lifeguards after dark. If you would rather walk home, AccessiaPass has hotel vouchers around Kuta.
