Subak Tukad Yeh Poh in Banjar Padang Bali, Dalung village, North Kuta, is a jogging path through working rice fields that went viral on TikTok in September 2026, and it is free, with no ticket and no parking fee. Go in the late afternoon: it gets busy from 4 pm, and the sun sets around 6.10-6.15 pm in late October.
Afternoon route from Canggu or Kerobokan
- 3.30 pm Set off. detikBali puts it at 30-45 minutes from Denpasar; Canggu and Kerobokan are closer, but the Dalung junctions clog up toward evening.
- 4.00 pm Look for Balai Banjar Padang Bali, the village hall. Take the lane beside it and go about 500 metres east until it ends at the fields.
- 4.00-5.15 pm Walk the path. In the dry season children splash in the irrigation channel catching small fish, and the rice was turning gold when detikBali visited on 20 September.
- 5.15 pm Grab snacks and cold drinks from the pop-up stalls residents set up near the entrance.
- 5.45-6.15 pm Face west and wait for the sun to drop.
- 6.30 pm Head to Umalas or Kerobokan for dinner, for example Nook in Umalas or Warung Sulawesi (check opening hours first).

Downsides you should know
These are subak farmers' fields, not a managed attraction. detikBali's report mentions no toilets or formal parking, so plan for that. Weekends are the busiest since it went viral. The rainy season is starting too: on Friday night (23/10) an irrigation channel in Penebel, Tabanan overflowed onto a road and swept away a scooter (NusaBali). After rain, keep children out of the channels, and do not step into paddies or onto bunds that farmers are working.
If you want an afternoon like this without a long drive, pick an AccessiaPass hotel voucher in Canggu or Kerobokan and make Dalung your sunset outing. For a beach sunset instead, try Batu Belig Beach, and more ideas nearby are in our Canggu guide.
