SANA Uluwatu: Menu, Prices and When to Visit Bingin's New Spot

SANA Uluwatu is open daily 7am-11pm on Jl. Buana Sari, Bingin, Pecatu, and dinner for two with two sharing plates, two mains, one dessert and a cocktail each comes to roughly Rp1.1-1.4 million based on the official menu. The all-day restaurant opened on 24 August 2026 (Hotelier Indonesia) inside the new Nuju Uluwatu resort, and made both NOW! Bali's and Honeycombers' September 2026 new-openings lists.

What the concept is

The official site describes modern Australian cooking shaped by Asian flavours. The space is split into a long bar, a small wine lounge, an air-conditioned dining room and an outdoor area with a pool at the back; Honeycombers notes the pool is open to restaurant guests. The interiors are by the studio inDesign. No head chef is named on the official site or in the opening coverage, so there is no chef reputation to go on yet.

What to order

• Breakfast: Miso Scrambled Eggs Rp85k, Sana Mc'Muffin Rp105k, Sana Benny (panko eggs, sriracha hollandaise) Rp120-150k.
• Plates to share: Tuna Crudo Rp160k, Pan-Fried Focaccia with stracciatella and chilli crunch Rp140k, Canadian Scallops Rp240k.
• Mains: Coral Trout with dashi cream Rp300k, Twice-Cooked Pork Belly Rp240k (pork), Korean Beef Saam Rp280k. Vegetarians have a mushroom Baked Lasagne at Rp260k and Eggplant Katsu at Rp180k.
• Dessert: Chocolate Ganache Rp95k, the dish Honeycombers praised most, or Pineapple Pie Rp120k.
• Drinks: signature cocktails Rp170-200k, such as the Dirty Tora (dashi-infused gin, vermouth, dabu-dabu brine) at Rp190k; mocktails Rp70k; Bintang Rp75k.

What it costs

Breakfast alone runs Rp85-155k per plate plus drinks. Dinner with one cocktail averages Rp500-700k per person, and jumps if you order the 300 g Australian Wagyu Ribeye at Rp1.1 million. The online menu does not say whether tax and service are included, so ask before ordering (prices checked September 2026).

When to go

Do not come for an ocean sunset: SANA sits roadside at the quieter end of Bingin, not on the cliff edge, so there is no sea view. If that is what you want, Saltwood on the Bingin cliffs is the better call, or head down to Bingin Beach first. The right time for SANA is late afternoon: a swim in the pool, then the air-conditioned room for dinner. A real plus is the large car park, rare among Bingin's narrow lanes.

An order that works for two: one focaccia to share, coral trout and the lasagne as mains, then the chocolate ganache. The focaccia is generous enough for two people.
