Roosterfish Beach Club Pandawa: Hours, Minimum Spend, Booking

Roosterfish Beach Club on Pandawa Beach is open daily 10am-8pm, with a DJ every afternoon around sunset. There is no entry ticket; instead there is a minimum spend for seating, starting at IDR 500k net for a two-person sun lounger. What time does Roosterfish open, and when is it busiest?

It opens 10am-8pm every day. The Chope page says a DJ plays daily toward sunset, so the busiest stretch is roughly 4pm-6:30pm. On Sundays from 11am to 3pm there is a Family Seaside Brunch from IDR 555k++ per person, with 50% off for kids aged 6-12; that day leans family rather than party. Because it closes at 8pm, this is an afternoon venue, not a nightclub.

What is the minimum spend, and how much are drinks?

On the drinks menu, the Pandawa-themed signature cocktails, sangria by the glass, classics (mojito, margarita, piña colada, Long Island) and G&Ts are all IDR 185k. A jug of sangria is IDR 400k. Bintang and Bintang Radler cost IDR 80k, Heineken IDR 90k, mocktails IDR 80k. Menu prices exclude 21% tax and service, so a cocktail ends up around IDR 224k. The menu was uploaded in November 2025; the latest guest reviews on Chope are dated February and March 2026.

Do I need a reservation?

For loungers and tables at weekends, yes. Book online through Chope; tables are only held for 15 minutes past the booking time. On weekdays without a booking you can usually still get a restaurant seat without a large minimum spend.

Is there a dress code or age limit?

There is no written dress code; it is a daytime beach club with a pool by the sand, so swimwear plus a cover-up is normal. Children are welcome, as the family brunch shows. To order alcohol, Indonesia's legal age is 21 and staff may ask for ID (see Bali drinking age rules).

What are the downsides, and how do I get back safely?

A February 2026 Chope review sums up a common complaint: good view, average food. IDR 185k++ cocktails are also Seminyak beach club prices, on a public beach that fills with tour groups at weekends. The road down to Pandawa Beach winds between limestone cliffs, and there is a village toll booth before the beach, so carry cash. Do not ride a scooter yourself after drinking on this cliff road; book a car or have a driver wait.
