The Forge at Jl. Petitenget 43C is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and every screen shows licensed sport: Premier League, Formula 1, AFL, ATP tennis, UFC. It is an air-conditioned gastropub, not a dance club. Here are seven things people most often get wrong before they go, based on the official website and the September 2026 menu, checked in October 2026.
1. The fixture list decides when it gets busy
Since it never closes, there is no opening time to chase. Kick-off is what fills the room. Once the UK switches to winter time at the end of October, weekend Premier League games land roughly between 8.30pm and 4am Bali time. Check the sports calendar on their website before heading over.
2. Big games can require a deposit
According to the reservation policy, tables for sporting events may need a deposit. Groups larger than six must book by WhatsApp and pay a deposit of IDR 200,000 per person. Online bookings are reconfirmed within 24 hours of the date; without confirmation the table can be released. If you are 15 minutes late and unreachable, the table goes too.
3. Free flow is a daytime deal
The two-hour free flow runs daily from 11am to 6pm: IDR 249,000 for beer, IDR 449,000 for beer, spirits and cocktails, IDR 499,000 with wine and sparkling added. Dine-in only. So for an evening match, it does not apply.
4. Menu prices are not the final bill
Everything on the menu gets 10% tax and 8% service added. Examples from the drinks list: Bintang Pilsner IDR 50,000 a bottle or IDR 190,000 a bucket, Heineken IDR 55,000, Stark 1945 Pilsner IDR 75,000. An "All Day Happy Hour" promo on the website offers two cocktails for IDR 200,000, mix and match.
5. No published dress code or age limit
The official site does not list a dress code or minimum age, and the venue describes itself as family friendly. Carry ID if you plan to order alcohol; the rules are in our piece on the legal drinking age in Bali.
6. Shisha is on the menu

7. Not the place if you want a party
