OPIA Bali Jimbaran: Menu Prices, Opening Hours, Do You Need to Book?

Dinner for two at OPIA Bali comes to about IDR 515k before drinks if you order one tuna, one duck, one potato side and one dessert, including 17% tax and service. The restaurant at Jalan Bukit Permai No.2, Jimbaran, opens for dinner only, 17:30-23:00 according to Chope, and is worth booking ahead.

What to order and what it costs

• From the ground: Humita Norteña (corn and northern Argentinian spices smoked in banana leaf) IDR 79k, Essentially Mushrooms IDR 81k, Aubergine, a whole eggplant in coconut curry, IDR 140k.
• From the bay: Yellow Flower Tuna IDR 99k, From Lima to Bali ceviche IDR 99k, Wedding in Sardinia clam linguine IDR 180k. Market Catch and Lobster Tagliolini carry no fixed price ("price varies").
• From the farm: Sawah, crispy duck with heritage rice and pickled sambals, IDR 200k. Belly of the Beast (pork belly) IDR 290k, Spring Bird (organic chicken) IDR 299k. The Argentinian Landscape wagyu short rib is also "price varies".
• Sides and desserts: sides IDR 49-79k, every dessert IDR 85k (Forbidden Fruit, coconut tiramisu, pandan crepes).

The downsides

It sits up in the hills, away from the beachfront seafood cafes. OPIA's own site says "Not on the strip", so you need a car or taxi, and there is no lunch service. The "price varies" dishes can push the bill up fast if you do not ask first. Chope shows an average of 4.8 from 35 reviews, but one 3-star review from May 2026 felt the food did not match the setting. If you are after cheap grilled seafood, this is the wrong place.
