Before You Go to The Jungle Club Ubud: Location, Minimum Spend, Hours

The Jungle Club closes at 8pm, so this is a day club for the afternoon and dusk, not a late-night venue. The adults-only club from the Wonderspace group opened in September 2024, and its website is still being updated as of October 2026. A few things regularly catch guests off guard.

Seven things people often miss

• It is not in central Ubud. Jl. Jaga Raga No.8A is in Celuk, Sukawati, close to Bali Zoo. The official blog says 20-25 minutes from Ubud town and about 40 minutes from Canggu with light traffic. A Best Beach Clubs Bali review noted a 30-minute drive can stretch to 1-2 hours at peak times.
• Open 10am-8pm daily, closed on Nyepi. Arrive at 4pm and you only get four hours. Late morning to midday is when the pools are quietest.
• Sources disagree on the entry fee. The official blog (September 2026) says walk-ins pay no entry fee. A 2025 review recorded a IDR 150,000 "first drink fee". Ask on WhatsApp before you go.
• Seating works on minimum spend. According to the official venue page: Bambu Restaurant table IDR 500k++ (2 people), Jungle Deck or Jungle Floor sofa lounge IDR 1.2m++ (4), Jungle Deck sunbed IDR 1.5m++ (2), daybed IDR 2m++ (4), sunken lounge IDR 3.5m++ (8) and Boho Cave sofas from IDR 2.5m++. The amount is spent on food and drinks, not charged on top.
• Menu prices are above the local average. At Bambu Restaurant, hummus with sweet potato chips is IDR 85k, peri-peri wings IDR 125k, a Black Angus burger IDR 175k and a 250 g tenderloin IDR 465k, before tax and service. Cocktail prices are not listed online, and reviews say drinks cost more than at a typical Gianyar bar.
• Adults only, no exceptions. Children are not admitted. Bring a passport or ID in case staff ask for proof of age; the general rules are in our guide to the legal drinking age in Bali.
• There is a DJ, but it is not a rave. The official blog mentions DJs playing through the day plus light shows. The events calendar on the site still shows old dates, so check Instagram if you are going for a specific event.

Who it doesn't suit

Families with kids cannot go. Anyone hoping for an ocean sunset will be let down, since the view is jungle and pools, not the sea. The pools are fairly narrow, so on busy days they are better for soaking than swimming. One safety note: Grab or Gojek pickups at this quiet spot can take a while, so arrange a driver home before 8pm and do not ride a scooter yourself after drinking.
