As of June 2026 there is no entry fee at Badung Agro Techno Park (ATP) in Belok Sidan village, Petang. That is not a promotion: according to detikBali (19 June 2026), this 14.87-hectare coffee estate owned by the Badung regency has not yet been registered as an official tourist attraction (ODTW), so it cannot legally charge a levy. Visitors still come and simply sign a guest book. Before you drive up to the far north of Badung, here is what people usually get wrong.
What to know before you go
- It is a government farm, not a theme park. It is run by the Badung Agriculture and Food Agency (Diperpa), with a dedicated technical unit since 1 March 2026. You will find Arabica coffee that is already fruiting, shallot and garlic demonstration plots, and post-harvest processing facilities.
- There is a coffee kiosk and a swing, but no published menu. detikBali (November 2025) mentions a relaxation area with a coffee kiosk, a swing ride and a barista training room. We found no price list anywhere, so carry some cash.
- There are no ATV rides yet. The regent only announced the plan in June 2026, with no timeline. Treat social media posts promising ATVs here with caution.
- Opening hours are not official. Without ODTW status there are no published visiting hours. Coming during office hours (morning to afternoon) is the safest guess, not a guarantee.
- The barista classes are not for tourists. Training here is an agency programme for farmers and residents. There is no information on paid classes for visitors.
Who will be disappointed
If you want polished photo spots and the facilities of a private agro-tourism park, ATP will feel unfinished. The agency itself says no further budget is allocated for physical construction because the processing facilities are considered sufficient. It suits coffee lovers who want to see a highland Arabica farm and its processing without joining a tour.
About fuel this week
Belok Sidan borders Kintamani and is roughly 1.5 hours' drive from Denpasar, according to detikBali. On 14 October 2026 detikBali reported a Pertalite shortage in Denpasar, Badung and Bangli, with queues of up to about 1 km, including at the Latu petrol station in Abiansemal, on the usual route to Petang. Fill your tank before leaving town. Ninety-two stations in Denpasar and Badung are now open 24 hours. For whether tourists may buy Pertalite at all, see our October 2026 fuel rules for visitors.
Location, access and social media
- Location: Belok Sidan village, Petang district, Badung. View on Google Maps
- Landmark: same road as the Tukad Bangkung Bridge; easy to combine with Bagus Agro Pelaga in the next village.
- Entry: no levy yet (checked October 2026, based on a June 2026 report).
- Booking: there is no booking system; just turn up and sign the guest book. Groups should contact Diperpa Badung first.

One last tip: the free entry may end once ATP gets its official tourism status, so do not be surprised to find a ticket booth at the gate later on.
