Above Rooftop Seminyak: Hours, Cocktail Prices, Dress Code

Above Rooftop Lounge & Bar sits on the roof of Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Seminyak, at Jalan Cendrawasih No. 99, Petitenget. It opens daily from 5pm to 11:30pm, and the cheapest cocktail is IDR 155,000 before tax. The official drinks menu was uploaded to Chope in August 2026; we checked it in October 2026.

Seven things people miss

• Menu prices are not final. Figures are in thousands of rupiah and exclude 21% tax and service. A IDR 175k cocktail ends up around IDR 212k on the bill, a IDR 155k one around IDR 188k.
• Beer is the budget option. Bali Hai draught and Bintang are IDR 70k, Heineken and San Miguel Light IDR 85k. Mocktails such as a Virgin Mojito are IDR 75k.
• Know the cocktail tiers. Signatures like The Mule, Above Sunset and the Boulevardier are IDR 175k; Fruit Tingle, Garden Herb and The Rosita IDR 165k; martinis, margaritas, daiquiris, negronis and cosmopolitans IDR 155k.
• Arrive before sunset. The bar only opens at 5pm, so west-facing seats fill fastest around 5:30-6:30pm. It gets quieter after dark.
• It is not on the beach. The hotel is on an inland Petitenget street. The view toward Batu Belig Beach is from above the rooftops, not from the sand.
• Few reviews so far. The Chope page has no guest reviews yet, and the "live entertainment" schedule is not published night by night. If music is the reason you are going, ask via Chope or the hotel first.
• Age and clothing. There is no written dress code; smart casual is the safe choice for a hotel bar. Indonesia's legal drinking age is 21, so bring a passport or ID (see the drinking and club age rules in Bali).

Getting home from Petitenget

Jalan Cendrawasih and Petitenget jam up after sunset, and Bali police have no tolerance for drink-driving. Book a ride-hailing car from the hotel lobby rather than riding a scooter; the legal background is in our article on drink-driving limits.
