Spice Beach Club Lovina: Beachfront Pool, Sunset Drinks & Live Music in Kaliasem

On Lovina’s dark-sand shore, Spice Beach Club is where travellers and Buleleng locals gather to wait for sunset: an ocean-facing swimming pool, loungers on the sand, cocktails and live music. It sits at Jalan Seririt–Singaraja No. 225, Bunut Panggang, Kaliasem village — just west of central Kalibukbuk. And it is very much open: on 23 July 2026 the Lovina Festival press conference, opened by the Regent of Buleleng, was held here.

Menu & Price Range

  • Food: an international menu — Indonesian snacks and starters, salads, sandwiches, soups, noodles, pasta, pizza, seafood, meat and poultry, plus vegetarian and gluten-free choices.
  • Drinks: classic cocktails, SBC’s own tropical cocktails, flaming cocktails and fresh mocktails; margaritas and sangria are among the featured drinks.
  • Prices: around Rp100,000–200,000 per person for food and drinks — far kinder on the wallet than South Bali beach clubs. Prices can change; bring some cash just in case.

Pool, Sunset & Entertainment

  • Swimming pool: an ocean-view pool with loungers. No day-pass rate or minimum spend is published; the pool is meant for dining guests, so ask staff about the policy when you arrive.
  • Sunset: the sun sets at the western end of the Lovina coastline. Arrive around 17:00 to get a front-row seat.
  • Entertainment: live music and weekly events announced on the official website and Instagram, plus spa treatments. On 6 July 2025 Spice Beach Club also hosted the opening of a Sunday Market of local products.
  • Atmosphere: relaxed and family-friendly in the afternoon, livelier as night falls.

The Perfect Pairing with a Dolphin Trip

  • Lovina’s dolphin boats leave at around 06:00, so the classic day runs: dolphins at dawn, a waterfall in the Gitgit or Munduk hills at midday, then back to Spice Beach Club for a swim and sunset.
  • The Spice Dive centre is on the same grounds if you want to arrange snorkelling or diving.
  • Travel times: about 5 minutes from Kalibukbuk, 20–25 minutes from Singaraja, around 1 hour from Munduk and 2.5–3 hours from Ubud.
