KALIH by SIKI is a 16-seat cocktail bar in the lobby of SIKI restaurant in Nusa Dua's ITDC area. It opened in May 2026 and deliberately has no menu: the bartender builds your drink after asking about your mood, favourite spirit and palate.
What do they pour here?
KALIH's first chapter centres on Balinese arak, reworked through house infusions and experimental distillation. The team says a second chapter will focus on sake, but no date has been given (Exquisite Taste, May 2026).
How much is a cocktail?
With no printed menu, prices are not on display. The Bali Guideline (September 2026) lists around IDR 150,000++ per cocktail (about US$9 before tax). Ask the price before the bartender starts mixing so the bill holds no surprises.
What happens at the Arak Workshop?
It is a one-hour session every Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm to 6pm, IDR 450,000 net per person, for 2 to 8 guests, and must be booked at least two days ahead on SIKI's TableCheck page. You follow palm sap as it becomes tuak and then arak, taste original arak, traditional infusions and KALIH's own infusions, then mix your own arak cocktail behind the bar (checked October 2026).
Do I need to book?
With 16 seats, yes, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Bar hours are not published separately; KALIH serves guests before and after dinner at SIKI, so ask for last orders when you book through the contacts on siki.co or by Instagram DM.
Is there a dress code or age limit?
No written dress code. Smart casual suits the restaurant lobby setting. Alcohol in Indonesia is for 21 and over, so bring ID; details are in our article on Bali drinking age.
Who is it for, and who should skip it?
It suits people who like talking with bartenders and want to understand arak beyond cheap shots. Skip it if you want a DJ, loud music or a party; the room is intentionally small and quiet. ITDC is also a long way from Canggu and Seminyak, and the toll road still takes time in the late afternoon.
