Nasi Be Lindung Bu Rina in Kukuh village, Kerambitan, Tabanan opens at night from 6pm to 2am, with a plate costing Rp10,000-25,000 according to detikBali (18 January 2025). The draws are crispy fried eel (lindung), be genyol and sayur gonda, a Tabanan vegetable dish.
What comes on a plate?
Rice, crispy eel, be genyol (spiced pork), ayam betutu, urutan (Balinese pork sausage), sayur gonda, sambal matah and kuah balung bone broth. The owners, I Made Sudiarta and Ni Kadek Srigati, told detikBali they prepare everything themselves with Tabanan-style spice paste. Google Maps reviews also mention a chicken option for people who do not eat pork.
How much does it cost now?
detikBali recorded Rp10,000-25,000 depending on the toppings (about AUD 1-2.50). The warung's Google Maps profile (checked 24 October 2026) sits in the Rp1-25,000 per person bracket, and one review mentions Rp15,000 a plate. Bring cash: the same review says there is no QRIS payment yet.
When should you go?
detikBali says it opens at 6pm, while one Google review says from 7pm, so arriving after 7pm is safer. According to the owner, the kitchen goes through about 5 kg of eel, 15 kg of pork and 3-5 kg of chicken a day, with customers coming from Tabanan, Denpasar, Badung and even Buleleng. There is no published sell-out time, so if eel is what you want, go earlier.
What are the downsides?
This is a home-run warung with floor seating (lesehan) down a village lane, not a restaurant. The menu is pork-heavy and not halal-certified. It is about 4 km west of Tabanan town and off the tourist trail, so you need your own transport or a driver.
