Tsune Uluwatu: Menu Prices, Sushi On The River and Opening Hours

Tsune Uluwatu, the Wonderspace group's Japanese restaurant on Jl. Labuansait in Pecatu, is open daily from 7am for breakfast until 10pm, and its Sushi On The River plates, which float past on a water channel, cost IDR 25-50k each. À la carte dishes run from IDR 105k for the Unagi Katsu to IDR 460k for the Rib Eye MB5+, all plus 21% tax and service.

What is Sushi On The River, and what else is on offer?

Sushi plates drift along a water channel with the sea behind, and you take what you like. The official promo page lists IDR 25k (tamago, kani mentai), IDR 35k (corn tempura inari, tuna tataki) and IDR 50k (salmon avocado, crunchy tuna roll) per plate. There is also a six-plate Teishoku lunch set at IDR 350k++, afternoon tea at IDR 250k nett from 2-6pm, a couples' sushi-making class at IDR 750k++ (1-4pm), and a Halloween promo on 30-31 October 2026 with cocktails at IDR 95-130k++.

What are the opening hours?

The official homepage says breakfast 7-10:30am, then lunch through dinner 12-10pm. The menu page on the same site says lunch starts at 10:30am, and Tripadvisor lists 7am-10pm with no break. If you arrive between 10:30am and noon, ask what is being served.

Do you need a reservation?

For a sea-facing table at sunset, yes. Book via the reservation page on the official site or the reservations WhatsApp listed there, +62 812-3733-9353. Weekday lunch is likely easier, but there is no queue data to quote.

What are the downsides?

The 21% surcharge pushes the bill well above the menu prices. One online reviewer complained that a Fiji water (they wrote IDR 80k++; the PDF menu now says IDR 70k) was the most expensive they had seen in Bali. The menu includes pork dishes such as pork collar and schnitzel, and the site does not mention halal certification. The restaurant only appeared in opening lists in late 2025, so it has fewer reviews than Uluwatu's long-running Japanese places.

Safety tip: Jl. Labuansait fills with rental scooters before sunset; if you order sake or cocktails, go home by car or ride-hailing rather than riding a scooter yourself on the dark Bukit roads.
