Gema Nusantara runs Saturday and Sunday, 14-15 November 2026, from 10:00 to 20:00 in the Candi Ballroom at The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Nusa Dua, and entry is free with a zero-rupiah ticket per day on Megatix. If you can only go once, go late: Saturday closes with the Indonesian Music Anthology session led by Aksan Sjuman at 18:20, Sunday with dance maestro Didik Nini Thowok at 19:15.
Expect a local artisan exhibition, talks, Indonesian food, DJ sets and door-prize draws several times a day. The schedule below comes from the official event page on Megatix (checked 28 October 2026). We found no second announcement from the resort or the press, so treat the times as subject to change and check again the day before.
Saturday 14 November: the slots worth catching
- 10:00 doors open and registration. Have your Megatix ticket ready on your phone.
- 11:00 opening with a performance by Sanggar Kertha Art, then the first talk (Bank Central Asia) at 11:30.
- 12:15 DJ Halim Ardie. A good window to browse the craft stalls before it fills up.
- 14:15 Ayu Anantha on preserving culture through dance and art; 15:10 Dwi Iskandar on sustainable fashion.
- 16:50 book launch and screening with Andre Syahreza.
- 18:20 Anthology Music of Indonesia with Aksan Sjuman, then close at 20:00.
That Saturday is also Tumpek Landep. In the morning many Balinese decorate their vehicles and pray, so leave extra time if you set off early from Denpasar or Kuta. What you will see and how to behave is in our Tumpek Landep article.
Sunday 15 November: arrive after lunch
- 12:15 Benny Santoso (TempeMan) on biodiversity, followed by DJ Richart Volx at 12:45.
- 15:30 launch of the book "Presiden Indonesia Timur", in collaboration with the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival.
- 17:15 and 18:10 two music sets by Nada1928.
- 19:15 Didik Nini Thowok performs, then joins a talk at 19:40.
The most efficient plan: arrive around 15:00, walk the exhibition and food stalls, then find a seat before 19:00 for Didik. The ballroom capacity is not published, so front seats are not guaranteed.
Tickets, getting there and parking
- Tickets: free, but book one ticket per day (DAY 1 and DAY 2) on Megatix. The organiser says the ticket also enters you into the daily lucky draw.
- Location: Candi Ballroom, The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Sawangan area, Nusa Dua. View on Google Maps
- From the airport or Kuta: about 30-45 minutes via the Bali Mandara toll road or Jl. By Pass Ngurah Rai, depending on traffic. Ride-hailing cars can drop you at the resort lobby.
- Parking: resort parking; fees and capacity for event visitors are not announced. A taxi is easier when everyone leaves at 20:00.
- Age limit and dress code: none listed. It is a five-star resort, so smart casual beats beachwear.
- Updates: search The Apurva Kempinski on Instagram.
On sources: the schedule, hours and free entry come from the Gema Nusantara page on Megatix. The resort's partnership with Aksan Sjuman on the Indonesian Music Anthology programme was reported by JPNN on 2 April 2023, so the Saturday evening set continues an existing programme. Status as of 28 October 2026: tickets are still available and no postponement has been announced.

FAQ
If it is free, why do I need a ticket? The zero-rupiah daily ticket is used for registration at the door and for the daily draw, according to the Megatix page.
Do I have to stay at the Apurva? No. The event is open to the public once you have registered.
Can I bring children? No age limit is listed. It is an indoor exhibition with talks and music, so it is fairly family-friendly.
