General Admission on Megatix is listed at Rp1,174,757 before the booking fee (about Rp1.21 million at checkout, roughly A$110), and the 20%-off early bird tickets were sold out when we checked on 27 October 2026.
The 2026 details come from a single official source, the organiser's Megatix ticket page. The format matches the 2024 edition archived on Bali Buddies' event calendar, down to the price of about Rp1.21 million per person.
What time is the race in Bali?
The Cup runs on the first Tuesday of November at Flemington. Its traditional start is 3pm Melbourne time (AEDT, UTC+11), which is about 12pm in Bali. The Kuta party opens two hours earlier, and the race itself takes only a few minutes. Megatix lists the event as 10am-6pm. Start times can shift, so recheck on the Victoria Racing Club site the day before.
What does the ticket include?
- General Admission: Rp1,174,757 + Megatix fee. The official description includes bubbles on arrival and a seafood and grill feast.
- Swagger Room Package: Rp6.6 million before fees (about Rp6.8 million).
- Top Gun Package: Rp10.2 million before fees (about Rp10.5 million).
- Promised entertainment: sweepstakes with prizes, best-dressed awards, a fashion show and live music.
The ticket page does not spell out what the two premium packages include or how many people they cover. Ask via Instagram @kutasocialclub before you pay.
Is there an age limit or dress code?
Megatix does not list an age limit. Alcohol is served, so bring your passport and check with the venue if you plan to bring teenagers. No dress code is written either, but with a best-dressed prize on offer, race-day dresses, smart shirts, hats and fascinators fit right in. How do I get there, and where do I park?
- Location: Kuta Social Club on Google Maps, on top of the Mamaka by Ovolo hotel, across from Kuta Beach.
- From the airport: about 20-30 minutes. From Seminyak or Canggu allow 30-60 minutes, as Jl. Pantai Kuta is one-way and busy at midday.
- Parking: car parking along Jl. Pantai Kuta is limited. Getting dropped at the hotel lobby by Grab, Gojek or taxi is easier.
- Getting home: it's an eight-hour event with drinks, so don't ride or drive. Bali police do act on drink driving, see the drink-driving rules.
Can I place a bet?
Gambling for money is illegal in Indonesia. The organiser describes its "sweepstakes" as a prize draw. Don't place cash bets beyond that, including through overseas betting apps. If you're taking souvenirs home, check what Australian biosecurity usually seizes first.

The event is live on Megatix, with GA and both packages still on sale. Early bird is gone. We found no other Bali Melbourne Cup event with 2026 tickets published. Cocoon Beach Club in Seminyak hosted one in 2025, but nothing has been announced for 2026.

Can I just walk in? No walk-in policy is published. Since food is included, the organiser will likely want firm numbers, so buy ahead.
When should I arrive? Before 11am, so you can eat and get a spot near the screen before the race at about 12pm.
Does the price include tax? Megatix prices exclude a booking fee of about 3%. Whether restaurant tax is included isn't stated, so ask when booking.
