The year-end Pandawa Festival is listed to begin on 25 December 2026 at Pandawa Beach in Kutuh, South Kuta, according to the government's 2026 Bali event calendar (reported by Bali.live on 15 January 2026, citing Bali Post) and Bali Discovery's calendar (5 February 2026). The end date, ticketing and line-up for 2026 had not been announced as of 1 November 2026, so treat 25 December as a provisional opening date.
The previous edition, Festival Pandawa XIV, ran for eight days from 25 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, organised by BUMDA Kutuh, according to Badung Regency's tourism site SITA Badung (15 December 2025). If the pattern holds, the 2026 festival will run through New Year's Eve.
What people get wrong or miss
- Do not confuse it with Semarak Pandawa. The Bali provincial site Love Bali lists "Semarak Pandawa Festival" as a June event. That is a different festival. The year-end one is called Festival Pandawa or Pandawa Beach Festival.
- What the last edition included: arts and culture shows, sports contests, food, creative competitions, games, music, DJs, fire dancing and New Year fireworks (SITA Badung; RSVP Clique, 24 December 2025). The 2026 programme is not out yet.
- Beach entry still applies. No festival ticket has been announced. According to Mojok (11 June 2026), Pandawa entry is Rp15k for domestic adults, Rp10k for children and about Rp25k for foreign adults; car parking Rp5k, motorbike Rp2k. Bring cash, as entry and parking are usually paid in cash.
- Beach opening hours appear in two versions in the same Mojok article: 7am-7pm and 7am-6pm. Evening festival shows usually keep their own hours, so wait for the official rundown.
- Expect crowds. During the 2025 Lebaran holiday the managers counted up to 6,500 visitors in a day (detikBali, 4 April 2025). Late December is also peak holiday time, so arrive before late afternoon if you want to park close.
- Official fireworks are not the same as lighting your own. Read the rules on New Year fireworks in Bali before bringing any to the beach.
- Agree on your pickup before you go in. Pandawa is reached by a road cut through the limestone cliffs from Kutuh. After evening shows the exit queue can be long, so set a pickup point with your driver early.
