Boliche is a hidden late-night bar inside Cantina Rooftop on Jl. It opens only at weekends from 8pm, takes no reservations, and the DJ changes every night.

The events feed on the same site shows the bar is active: THI ZONA plays on 24 October 2026 and there is a Halloween night.

The vibe and when to go
Follow the red arrow from the Cantina area. Boliche is an enclosed, soundproofed room in the former Beggars Bush, Ubud's first bar from the 1970s. The music changes genre: posts shown on its site mention resident DJ Todjon on some Fridays, afro tech house nights and guest sessions such as THI ZONA. With no bookings, arrive around 8-9pm if you want a seat; latecomers on Saturday may end up standing.
The downsides
Opening days are inconsistent. Boliche's own page says "Fri & Sat" in one place and "Thu - Sat" in another; Honeycombers says Thursday to Saturday, while BaliReady and Islandseeker say Friday and Saturday only. Check Instagram before going on a Thursday. Wanderlog's review summary also mentions noise complaints from nearby guests and quiet nights, so the energy depends on who is playing. The published menu is dated 2024, so prices may have risen.
