TELU at Four Seasons Jimbaran: Zero-Waste Bar, Cocktail Prices, Hours

TELU opens Wednesday to Sunday, 17:00-00:00, inside Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, with cocktails from about IDR 150k++ a glass. The small bar opened in June 2023 in a previously unused corner of the resort, built from furniture and materials salvaged from past renovations, and marked its third anniversary in June 2026. What to order

The menu follows Tri Hita Karana, and TELU means three in Balinese: nature, people, soul. NOW! Bali counts nine cocktails. The ones the press mentions most:

Subak Negroni, made with a tomato-leaf and banana-skin vermouth.
Pagi Bersama, aged arak, spent coffee and stingless bee honey.
Down to Earth, a clarified cocktail with tropical fruit notes.
Pasang Surut, a gimlet-style drink with tangerine and local arak.
Nasi Old Fashioned, a Honeycombers pick.

If you are curious about arak, ask to see the Arak Cellar: brick-wall shelves of Balinese arak, some infused with herbs and spices. There are zero-proof cocktails and bar bites too. According to the resort, over 80% of ingredients are home-grown or locally sourced, and leftovers such as citrus peel become tinctures, tepache or infusions.

What it costs

Honeycombers (updated January 2026) lists cocktails from IDR 150k++. Chope gives a range of IDR 250-400k per person. Two cocktails and a snack, after roughly 21% tax and service, come to an estimated IDR 400-600k per person (about US$25-37). Part of the profit goes to local charity partners; early on the resort named Sungai Watch, Coral Gardener and Bali Children Foundation among them.

When to go

Closed Monday and Tuesday. Arrive around 17:00 if you want to see the herb garden around the bar before dark, since many cocktail ingredients are picked there. The resort also runs cocktail classes and workshops; ask about dates when you book. If you would rather sleep in Jimbaran so the ride home from TELU takes minutes, hotel vouchers for the area are on AccessiaPass.

Verdict

The strengths are clear: a sustainability story you can actually ask about glass by glass, and arak treated as a serious spirit rather than a cheap mixer. So are the weaknesses. It is not a party bar and there is no loud DJ. Prices are resort prices plus ++, it opens only five nights a week, and it sits inside a resort on the Jimbaran hill, far from the seafood warungs on the beach. Jl. Bukit Permai is steep and dark, so ask the concierge for a taxi and do not ride a scooter after a few arak drinks. A good pairing: an afternoon massage at Healing Village Spa in the same resort, then cocktails at TELU.
