Ganesha Ek Sanskriti Now Open at Samasta Jimbaran

Ganesha Ek Sanskriti, the Indian restaurant chain Shilpa Dave started in 2003, has opened its ninth Bali outlet at Samasta Lifestyle Village, Jl. Wanagiri 1, Jimbaran. NOW! Bali reported the opening on 3 August 2026, and Bali Buddies' coverage uses photos dated July 2026.

What is new here

Two dishes are exclusive to Samasta: the Chilli Paneer Sizzler and the Chilli Chicken Sizzler. Seating is split between a semi-outdoor area surrounded by garden and an air-conditioned dining room. Every day at 5pm a Barong dance is staged in the Samasta complex and can be watched from the tables.

Price range

On Ganesha's official ordering site (checked October 2026): naan IDR 36,750, samosa IDR 47,250, paneer IDR 115,500, tandoori murgh IDR 189,000, rogan josh IDR 194,250, prawn or fish curry IDR 262,500, mango lassi IDR 63,000. Dine-in prices may differ. Basmati rice is charged separately (IDR 73,500), so a curry with rice and bread for one person easily passes IDR 300,000 (about US$18), more than a typical Indian warung.

Before you go

Opening hours for the Samasta outlet were not listed in the sources we checked, and halal status is not stated either; ask about both on Instagram. Around 5pm the Samasta boulevard fills with people watching the Barong, so come earlier if you want a table facing the show.
