An hour at Face Therapy Spa Umalas costs Rp690,000, and it covers only your face down to the upper back. That figure is on the spa's Fresha page as checked in October 2026. For comparison, plenty of day spas around Umalas charge under Rp250,000 for a 60-minute full-body Balinese massage.

So this boutique spa at Jl. Umalas Klecung No.30, Kerobokan Kelod, is not a regular massage place. The menu centres on facial massage: lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, acupressure, lifting techniques and Kobido (Japanese facial massage), worked across the face, head, neck, shoulders, chest and upper back. A second branch with the same name operates in Pererenan.

The buccal massage is a 15-minute add-on after the 60-minute signature. The therapist works the cheek and jaw muscles from inside the mouth. According to the review summary on Fresha, people who clench their teeth or carry jaw tension notice the difference most. Jetlag Recovery adds a 30-minute arm and foot massage plus a mask, which makes sense after a long-haul flight.

Downsides to Know

Expensive per minute. Rp920,000 for 75 minutes equals three or four full-body massages at nearby spas such as Aliya Wellness Spa or You Spa Umalas.
Not a body massage. If your lower back or legs ache after surfing, these treatments do not reach them, except the 90- and 120-minute packages that add arms and feet.
Buccal is not for everyone. The therapist's hands go inside your mouth. If that bothers you, pick the signature or gua sha.
Tax is unclear. Fresha does not say whether prices include tax and service. Ask when you book.
