Before You Go to Vault Berawa: Peak Hours, Door & Dress Code

Vault opens Monday and Wednesday to Saturday from 10pm, and the dance floor only really fills after midnight. This underground club sits beneath the Tamora retail complex at Jl. Pantai Berawa No. 99, Canggu, and has been running since 2019. The music changes nightly: RnB, afrobeats, amapiano, hip hop, plus house and techno nights when guest DJs play. These are the things people most often get wrong (checked September 2026):

Days, hours and when it gets busy

• Closed Tuesday and Sunday. Honeycombers' 2026 guide lists Monday and Wednesday to Saturday. Some older directories show other days, so check that week's schedule on Instagram before you go.
• Arriving at 10pm means an empty room. The peak is roughly 12.30am-2.30am, and the club closes around 4am.
• Genres follow the day. Its Instagram profile lists Monday RnB to future beats, Wednesday afrobeats and amapiano, Friday hip hop and RnB, Saturday new school hip hop. If you are coming for techno, look for a guest DJ announcement first.

At the door: age, clothes, cover charge

• 21+ with physical ID. Bring your passport or ID card; door staff check ages.
• No flip-flops. The rule is written on its official profile. Closed shoes and a neat shirt are safe; singlets and board shorts risk a refusal.
• Cover depends on the night. Regular nights are often free. On guest DJ nights or weekends, guest list agencies report around IDR 100,000-200,000, sometimes including one drink. Treat that as a range.

Drinks and tables

The menu on its official website lists classic cocktails (espresso martini, negroni, old fashioned) at IDR 160,000, Bintang IDR 65,000, Heineken IDR 85,000 and still water IDR 55,000, tax and service included. That menu was uploaded in 2024; Honeycombers' 2026 guide says cocktails start at IDR 150,000, so the figures still line up. Tables and bottles are booked by DM or the WhatsApp link on Instagram, and minimum spend varies by night, so ask before you sit down.

Who will be disappointed

There are no windows, no views, and the room feels cramped when it is full. The Void Acoustics sound system is built to be played loud, so conversation near the dance floor is close to impossible. If you want a beachfront sofa or a sunset, Vault is the wrong place.

Getting home and practical info

• Getting home: book a ride-hailing car from the front of Tamora. Do not ride a scooter after drinking; Jl. Pantai Berawa and the shortcut to Canggu are dark and busy with bikes until dawn.
