Sanur Village Festival 2026: A Seaside Community Celebration

Sanur Village Festival is one of the liveliest community celebrations in eastern Bali, held along the shore of Pantai Matahari Terbit (near the Maisonette area) in Sanur. The event brings together cultural stages, a food bazaar, and dazzling kite displays against a calm sea backdrop. The vibe is relaxed, family-friendly, and entry to the festival grounds is free.

When Is It Held?

The festival is usually held around late August for about five days. Because the exact dates can change each year, it is best to check the organizer's official channels closer to August 2026 to confirm the schedule and latest program.

What to Enjoy

• Food bazaar — Balinese snacks, seafood, and local coffee.
• Music & dance stage — live music and traditional performances each night.
• Kite displays — giant Balinese kites in the beach sky.
• Water sports and beach activities for families.
• Art & UMKM stalls — handicrafts and local products.

Visiting Tips

Arrive around sunset to enjoy the evening sky just as the night stages come alive. Bring enough cash, as many small vendors do not yet accept cards. Wear sandals and light clothing, and bring the whole family — the area is safe and comfortable for children.
