Pasar Seni Sukawati: Shopping Guide & Bargaining Tips

Since the 1980s, Pasar Seni Sukawati in Gianyar has been the go-to stop for Bali souvenir hunting. After its renovation, the main block is now a tidy multi-storey building with a lift, far more comfortable than the cramped old stalls. The goods are unchanged: endek and batik textiles, beach sarongs, canvas paintings, rattan weaving, bags, wooden carvings and small trinkets for the folks back home.

Getting There

The market sits on the Denpasar–Ubud road, easy to slot into any day plan.
