NusantaRun Chapter 14 takes place on Saturday and Sunday, 5-6 December 2026, on a roughly 104 km route from Denpasar to Karangasem. It is a charity run, not a race: there are no winners or prize money, and the money runners raise through Kitabisa goes to education, specifically student athletes in Bali, according to the Yayasan Lari Nusantara website.
The organiser calls this the final Bali chapter. The 2024 route ran from Gilimanuk to Kintamani, 2025 went from Batur to Serangan, and this year links Renon to the Amed coast.
Schedule and route (official site, checked October 2026)
- Full Course, 104 km: flag-off on 5 December at 05:00 WITA from the Bali Provincial Education, Youth and Sports Office (Disdikpora) in Renon. The start closes at 05:30; late arrivals are marked DNS.
- Half Course, 75 km: flag-off at 13:00 WITA from Alun-Alun Kota Gianyar, the town square.
- Checkpoints: Sukawati district office (18.5 km), Gianyar town square (29.3 km), Goa Lawah Beach (51 km, open 13:00-21:00), Sengkidu village office in Manggis (65 km), Taman Ujung (79 km).
- Finish: Hotel Uyah Amed & Spa Resort, open from 22:00 on 5 December until the 13:00 cut-off on 6 December.
A fair warning about the data: the start, finish and Gianyar point are still marked "To Be Confirmed" in the official rules. The same page still carries a few rows with the year typed as 2025, and a third-party listing from September 2026 quotes 95 km and 65 km. Go by the official figures and watch for the final announcement.
Before you go
- Sign-up: late registration opened on 5 October 2026. Minimum age is 18 and foreigners can enter. You need a Kitabisa account linked to an Indonesian (+62) WhatsApp number and a Privy ID to sign the waiver. The entry fee is not shown on the public pages, so check the form itself.
- Shuttles: finish to Discovery Mall Kuta IDR 300,000, Discovery Mall to the Gianyar start IDR 225,000, Half Course return IDR 525,000, bought in the registration form.
- Mandatory gear: headlamp, at least 1.5 litres of water, emergency blanket, raincoat, windbreaker, whistle, LED light or reflector, ID and cash. December is rainy season, and midday on the east coast can be very hot.
- Spectating: there are no tickets. The easiest places to cheer are Goa Lawah in the afternoon and the Amed finish from night to morning. Goa Lawah sits on a bypass road busy with trucks, so park in the proper lot and stay off the road shoulder.
- Not ideal for: runners chasing a time or a race medal. This is a fundraiser, and most of the distance is on main roads rather than trails like the Bali Coast Trail in Candidasa.
Where to stay and practical info
Full Course runners must be in Renon by 03:00, so a night in Sanur or Denpasar beforehand makes the most sense. Supporters waiting at the finish can sleep in Amed and visit the traditional Amed salt farms the next morning; an AccessiaPass hotel voucher can help you split those two nights between the two areas.
