Mosto Berawa: Do You Need a Booking and How Much Does It Cost?

Yes, book ahead. Mosto, a natural wine bar and bistro at Jl. Pantai Berawa No. 8, Tibubeneng, has roughly 60 seats plus a few bar stools and opens daily from 5pm. It opened in 2022 from the group behind Da Maria and Luigi's.

How do you book?

Use the booking button on the official site, mostobali.com (a SevenRooms system), or the WhatsApp number listed there. For Friday and Saturday nights, book a few days out. The bar stools facing the kitchen go first.

How much will you spend per person?

As of October 2026 the online menu still shows two price versions, so treat these as ranges:

• Sourdough Rp50,000-70,000, oysters Rp65,000-70,000 each.
• Pasta such as tagliolini with sambal arrabbiata or gnocchi Rp130,000-170,000.
• Mains: grilled barramundi Rp240,000, pressed dorper lamb neck Rp350,000.
• Cocktails Rp120,000-160,000, wine by the glass from Rp95,000 (mostly Rp120,000-170,000), bottles from Rp520,000 to over Rp2.5 million.

Prices exclude 10% tax and 7% service. Two small plates, a pasta and two glasses of wine usually land around Rp600,000-800,000 per person after tax.

Are there vegetarian or vegan options?

Vegetarians do fine: roasted beetroot with tahini and feta, barbecued broccoli with burrata, focaccia with almond sauce, mixed leaves, layered fries and gnocchi. The menu carries no V or VG labels, and some pasta uses a parmigiano rind broth, so ask the staff. Vegans have slim pickings.

Is it child friendly?

We found no ban, but there is no kids' menu, and it is a wine bar that gets busier and louder as the night goes on. Families with small children will be more comfortable at a lunch spot near Berawa Beach.

What are the downsides?

• A small room that gets loud when full; some reviews say it can feel warm.
• Evenings only, no breakfast or lunch.
• The 17% on top adds up fast, especially with a bottle.
