Bali Good Food Month 2026: Closing Festival on 14 November in Jimbaran

The closing festival of Bali Good Food Month 2026 takes place on Saturday 14 November 2026, 3pm-10pm at Suwarga Garden, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran. Entry is IDR 100,000 per person (about US$6) and includes a IDR 50,000 food voucher, sold through Megatix (checked October 2026).

What it is and when it starts

Bali Good Food Month is the first edition of a programme by the Bali Restaurant & Café Association (BRCA). According to its official site, baligoodfoodguide.com, it runs 22 October-14 November 2026 as a series of collaboration dinners at participating restaurants, from Kuta to Karangasem. NOW! Bali reported a 16 October start; go by the organiser's dates.

Some events already have times in the official calendar:

• 22 Oct: opening at TEMPLE by Ginger Moon, Kuta, 6:30pm-10pm.
• 3 Nov: a megibung feast at Bali Asli, Karangasem, 9:30am-2pm.
• 9 Nov: Bali Beans coffee plantation trek in Plaga, 8:30am-3:30pm.
• Several other dates are still listed as TBA, and the organiser says the schedule may change.

The day itself: 14 November at Suwarga Garden

Expect around 30 food and drink booths from Bali restaurants, live music, workshops, cooking demos, panel talks and a sustainability booth. The event also launches BRCA's restaurant guide website. Suwarga Garden only opened on 25 September 2026: an events garden built around a seven-metre waterfall and connected directly to Samasta Lifestyle Village.

The IDR 50k voucher covers only part of a meal, so budget extra for the booths. Most of the space is open-air and November is the start of the rainy season, so bring a folding umbrella. Only the Pavilion (about 300 m²) is covered.

For a sense of scale: according to the organiser the event area totals about 2,175 m², made up of the Waterfall Garden (665 m²), the Lawn (860 m²), the Pavilion (300 m²) and the Banyan area (350 m²). Restaurants or businesses that want to sell can rent a booth for IDR 3.5 million, including a tent, a table, two chairs, electricity and 10 food vouchers.

Route, parking and when to arrive

• Location: Jl. Wanagiri No.1, Jimbaran. View on Google Maps
• About 15 minutes from the airport in light traffic, according to NOW! Bali. On Saturday afternoons the Jimbaran-Uluwatu road is often jammed; check Bali traffic peak hours before you set off.
• Arrive 3-4pm if you want to choose booths before queues build. Sunset is around 6:15pm.
• Easiest is to be dropped at Samasta by taxi or ride-hailing. Official event parking details have not been announced.
