BAKUL Saba Beach, Gianyar: Babi Guling Nang Lindung Prices

A regular plate of babi guling at BAKUL (Bambu Kuliner Bali) on Jalan Pantai Saba, Blahbatuh, Gianyar is listed at Rp35k on the GoFood menu of Babi Guling Nang Lindung. Nang Lindung is the name BAKUL sells as its headline dish, served in a bamboo, sit-on-the-floor restaurant on the Gianyar coast, well away from the Ubud crowds.

What to order

The main order is Nang Lindung roast pork seasoned with base genep, served with lawar, oret (Balinese pork sausage), vegetables and sambal. Nibble.id, in its April 2026 roundup of Bali restaurants, called this babi guling the clear winner. IDN Times (20 August 2026) lists other dishes: mujair nyat-nyat (spiced tilapia), special nasi campur with shredded chicken, long-bean lawar, semuuk and Balinese sweets. Nibble also mentions grilled village chicken and ayam betutu.

Prices checked October 2026; ask at the counter because the sources don't agree.

When to go

The downsides

• Not halal: the signature dish, the lawar and the oret are all pork. If you don't eat pork, choose chicken or fish.
• Opening hours and prices differ between sources, and there is no official website to check.
• It sits on a coastal village road. Without your own transport you'll rely on ride-hailing to get back.
• Seating is in floor-level huts, which is uncomfortable if you struggle to sit on the floor.
