Bagus Jati Health & Wellbeing Retreat, Sebatu (Gianyar)

Tucked into the slopes of the Sebatu valley north of Ubud (still within the Tegallalang area), Bagus Jati Health & Wellbeing Retreat is an eco-wellness retreat at roughly 750 metres above sea level. Cool mountain air (around 20–25°C), tropical forest, and sweeping valley views make it ideal for detoxing both body and mind. The good news: several day-spa packages are open to guests who are not staying overnight.

Spa & Treatments

Sejati Spa is rooted in Balinese healing and Ayurveda. Popular treatments include Balinese massage, Javanese massage, Balinese boreh, and detox rituals with scrubs and a hydro bath.

Access & Tips

From central Ubud it is about 40–50 minutes' drive north (Tegallalang–Sebatu); the road climbs and winds, so a car is best. Bring a light jacket for the cool air, and arrive early to enjoy the gardens and natural pool.
