Tibuan Waterfall Wanagiri: Tickets, Access, Parking and Camping

Entry to Tibuan Waterfall in Wanagiri village is Rp25,000 per person, and that price includes one night of camping, according to detikBali (26 December 2025) and JalanMelali (April 2025). It sits in Banjar Asah Panji, Sukasada district, Buleleng, and is listed on Visit North Bali, the official portal of the Buleleng tourism office.

How much is the ticket?

Rp25,000 per person, including permission to camp for one night. Some older listings show Rp20,000 for Indonesians and Rp30,000 for foreigners, so bring a little extra cash. Price checked in October 2026 against written sources.

What are the opening hours?

No official hours have been published. The manager, Made Warga, is listed on the Visit North Bali page; ask ahead if you plan to arrive late in the day or stay overnight.

How far is it and what is the trail like?

About 1 hour 5 minutes by car from central Singaraja. The final part is a steep footpath of roughly 2 km. Trail bikes can make it; automatic scooters are not recommended. It lies close to Banyumala Twin Waterfall, so the two fit into one day.

Where do cars park?

Cars have to stop some distance from the waterfall and you continue on foot. None of the sources we found lists a parking fee.

Can you swim and jump?

The fall itself is low, under 3 metres, but the pool is fairly wide. It is about 3 metres deep near the rock wall and many visitors jump from there. If you cannot swim or dislike heights, sit by the river instead.

What should you bring for camping?

• Your own tent and gear. The managers do not rent equipment.
• Food and drinking water. Nobody sells anything on site.
• Hiking sandals or shoes with grip, and a bag to carry all your rubbish out.

Who is it not for?

Families with toddlers, older travellers and anyone who cannot manage 2 km on a steep path. In the rainy season the trail turns slippery, so go on a clear day. If you want a tall waterfall for photos, Tibuan is the wrong choice. Its appeal is the pool and the grassy camping field.

Set off in the morning. The 2 km trail is safer in daylight, and you still have time to pitch a tent before the afternoon mist settles over the Wanagiri highlands.
