Sukhavati Ayurvedic Retreat & Spa is one of Bali's most authentic healing retreats, set in Ketewel, a quiet area between Sanur and Gianyar. Unlike a typical spa, Sukhavati brings the full Indian Ayurvedic tradition: detox programs built on medical consultation, not just relaxation massage.
What Makes It Special
The heart of Sukhavati is its panchakarma program, the classic Ayurvedic cleansing therapy designed by resident Ayurvedic doctors. Each guest begins with a consultation to determine their body constitution (dosha), then receives a fully personalized program.
- Consultation & diagnosis by experienced Ayurvedic doctors
- Daily therapies: herbal oil massage, shirodhara, and herbal steam
- Vegetarian sattvic meals tailored to your dosha
- Morning yoga, meditation, and pranayama sessions
- A calm tropical garden setting for complete recovery
Good to Know
Sukhavati mainly offers multi-day residential programs (staying in), with 3, 5, 7-day or longer packages covering accommodation, consultation, therapies, and meals. Day treatments are also possible for those wanting a taste. Bring comfortable clothing, prepare for a light diet, and come with an open mind. As this is an intensive healing experience, pricing is package-based and premium.
