Nusa Penida Entry Fee 2026: How Much and How to Pay

Since 1 September 2026, foreign visitors to Nusa Penida or Nusa Lembongan-Nusa Ceningan pay a zone fee of Rp25,000 per adult and Rp15,000 per child (ages 4-13), plus a separate fee at each tourist attraction (DTW) at the same rates, which domestic visitors pay as well. The legal basis is Klungkung Regency Regulation (Perda) No. 4 of 2026, amending Perda No. 8 of 2023 on regional taxes and levies. How much do you pay?

• Zone fee (foreigners only): Rp25,000 adult, Rp15,000 child. Charged per visit to the zone, not per attraction. Nusa Penida and Lembongan-Ceningan are two zones; if you cross to both, ask whether proof of payment for one covers the other.
• Attraction (DTW) fee (foreign and domestic): Rp25,000 adult, Rp15,000 child per site. The first phase of the One Gate One Destination (OGOD) system covers Kelingking, Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong, Teletubbies Hill, Devil's Tear and Crystal Bay.
• Pre-wedding or commercial photo shoots: Rp500,000 per package for foreigners, Rp300,000 for Indonesians.

Example for one foreign adult on the classic west tour: zone fee Rp25,000 plus Kelingking, Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong and Crystal Bay at Rp25,000 each, around Rp125,000 in total. Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong sit side by side, so ask at the post whether they count as one ticket or two.

Where and how do you pay?

• The zone fee is checked on arrival; media reports say verification takes place at Banjar Nyuh harbour. Some fast boat operators and tour packages already include it in the price, so ask when booking and keep the proof.
• The attraction fee is paid at the levy post at each site. The system is digital and cashless, linked to the regency account at BPD Bali. The tourism office hands out barcode stickers for tour vehicles to speed up scanning.
• In the first days there were queues at Broken Beach and Crystal Bay because passengers got out before parking. The flow has since changed: vehicles park first, then buy tickets. Power and signal problems also delayed service by about 20 minutes once; the regency added Starlink and generators.

If you only go to Lembongan and Ceningan, the zone fee still applies to foreigners, and Devil's Tear on Lembongan is one of the first-phase OGOD sites. Other Lembongan-Ceningan attractions have not been named in the reports we found, so be ready to pay on site. On a snorkelling day trip from Sanur or Benoa that stops on the islands, ask whether the fee is included in the package or collected separately at the jetty.

Who is exempt?

The child rate covers ages 4-13, so toddlers under four are not listed in the tariff. In 2024 Klungkung Regency said visits purely for worship were exempt; reports on Perda 4/2026 have not spelled that exemption out, so explain your purpose to the officer if you are coming for a ceremony.

How it differs from Bali's Rp150,000 tourist levy

The Rp150,000 levy is a Bali Province charge under Bali Provincial Regulation No. 6 of 2023, paid once per entry to Bali through Love Bali. Klungkung Regency says openly that OGOD is meant to reduce day-trip tourism. With per-site fees, a six-stop express tour in one day now costs more than staying a night and splitting west and east across two days.
