Raja's Balinese Cuisine, the Balinese restaurant at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, reopened in July 2026 with a new interior and menu. It is not a new restaurant: Raja's has been in the same hotel for years, but the 2026 version has a new list of dishes, with mains at Rp225k-650k (about US$14-40) before 21% tax and service (official menu dated 13 August 2026, checked October 2026).
What changed?
According to NOW! Bali, the room now uses soft green and warm timber, batik and Balinese patra motifs, carved gebyok doors, and indoor plus semi-outdoor seating overlooking the hotel pool. The concept is Balinese food with modern technique, from a kitchen led by the hotel's Executive Chef, Kai Werner. The hotel website says the restaurant is halal certified, which is unusual for a Balinese restaurant in Nusa Dua since many classic Balinese dishes use pork.

- Whole bebek betutu (slow-cooked spiced duck) Rp640k, ayam betutu (chicken) Rp430k.

Who is it not for?
If you want authentic Balinese flavour at warung prices, look elsewhere: the ayam betutu here costs nearly ten times a warung version. Raja's is also dinner only and sits inside the gated ITDC Nusa Dua complex. For cheap Balinese chicken rice nearby, see Warung Nasi Ayam Bu Oki.
