Lv8 Resort Hotel is a beachfront resort on Jl. Pantai Berawa, Tibubeneng, with 124 suites of 85-360 m² on about 5 hectares, according to the property profile on booking sites. Rates shown on Kayak when checked in October 2026 for one night in mid-October: from US$68 for a twin room and about US$120 for a king room, fees included.
What it costs and what you get
Kayak puts the average over the past two weeks at about US$94 for weeknights and US$107 for weekends. At current exchange rates that is roughly IDR 1.1-2 million a night, depending on dates and room type. Breakfast is often not included; Hotels.com quotes about IDR 200,000 per adult, so compare room-only and breakfast rates before you book.
- Rooms: all are suites with a sitting area and balcony, some facing the sea. There are one- and two-bedroom suites, a few with a private pool.
- Pool and beach: the main pool faces the ocean and opens straight onto Berawa's sand, plus a jacuzzi and sauna.
- Other facilities: spa, 24-hour gym, bicycle rental, beach bar, a restaurant with buffet breakfast, free Wi-Fi and parking.
- Times: check-in from 15:00, check-out at 12:00. Bring a credit card or cash for the deposit.
Drawbacks that keep coming up in reviews
The average score on Kayak is 7.7 from 1,692 ratings, with Agoda at 8.2 and Booking.com at 7.1. Read that gap as "good, but inconsistent". Recurring complaints:
- Noise: several guests mention DJ music every night until about midnight. Ask for a room away from the bar if you sleep early.
- Maintenance: rust in places, unreliable hot water, and safes, TV remotes or Wi-Fi that sometimes fail.
- Food: the buffet breakfast is generally praised, but some guests find the rest of the restaurant menu ordinary.
- Location: a little far from central Canggu around Batu Bolong, and Jl. Pantai Berawa is often jammed in the late afternoon. Walking to Berawa's cafés in the midday heat is not pleasant either.
Who it suits
Lv8 makes sense for families or two couples who need more space than a standard hotel room and want to step from the pool onto the beach. FINNS Beach Club is about a five-minute walk away and Café del Mar Bali is in the same area, so guests who want to be near the beach clubs will find it convenient.
It is a weaker fit if you expect a polished five-star resort in every corner, a very quiet honeymoon, or want to walk to the Batu Bolong café strip. For that, the same budget often buys a better-kept boutique hotel inside Canggu.
