Alala Amed Spa: 60-Minute Balinese Massage Price and What to Check

A 60-minute Balinese massage at Alala Amed Spa & Boutique is listed at Rp190,000 (about US$11.50) on its official menu, with 90 minutes at Rp255,000, and the spa opens every day from 10:00 to 21:00. The address on its website is Jl. I Ketut Natih, Purwakerti, in the Amed area. TripAdvisor reviews from May and June 2026 still praise the cleanliness and the therapists' skill.

Before you go

• There are two locations. According to TripAdvisor reviews, one is next to Mejore Hotel and a newer one is towards Cafe Good Stuff, with mountain views and a boutique. Say which branch when you book. A Google review from August 2025 says staff can help with transport between the two.
• Compare the menu first. For 60 minutes: Swedish Rp180,000, foot reflexology Rp190,000, deep tissue Rp215,000, lomi-lomi Rp220,000, hot stone Rp225,000, the Alala Signature (starting with warm herbal compresses) Rp230,000, shiatsu Rp245,000, Thai Rp250,000, bamboo Rp265,000.
• Coming as a pair? The couple massage is 75 minutes for Rp450,000 in one room. A four-hand massage with two therapists costs Rp370,000 for 60 minutes.

• Set the pressure early. A September 2025 Google review praises a therapist who followed a request for a gentle massage. If you want it firm, choose deep tissue or say so at the start.
• This is a day spa, not a resort spa. The menu lists no pool, sauna or steam room, so do not plan on a soak before or after. For a massage with a sea feel, Cantika Zest is closer to the beach.
• Review numbers are still small. TripAdvisor shows only about 14 reviews (rated 4.9), so the public track record is thinner than for big spas in Ubud or Seminyak.

A good rhythm in Amed: snorkel in the morning at Jemeluk Bay, rest at midday, then book a late-afternoon massage. Leave a few hours after a scuba dive before any deep massage.
